Lemongrass's backstory
Native to tropical regions such as Asia, lemongrass has traditionally been used for medicinal, cosmetic, and culinary purposes. This tall perennial plant has even earned the name “fever grass” in some cultures that brew the citrus-tasting grass into a tea in order to reduce high temperatures. Lemongrass continues to be among the most popular essential oils used for its effectiveness, health benefits, and versatility.
