Lime's backstory

It’s hard to mistake the wonderfully refreshing scent of PURE Lime! This joy-giving essential oil comes from the peel of the citrus fruit grown in Mexico. When used topically, the lime fruit has an array of useful everyday benefits for self-care. Just like the fruit that it’s extracted from, Lime provides an energising aroma.

The use of citrus to combat scurvy was initially a closely guarded military secret. The ability to remain at sea for long periods of time without contracting the disorder gave them a distinct advantage. British sailors thus acquired the nickname “Limey” because of their use of limes!

Apply this aromatic oil to inner wrist and behind the ears. Dilute with a carrier oil as needed for skin sensitivity. For lasting quality, store in a cool, dark place. If pregnant or nursing, consult your health-care practitioner before use. Avoid contact with eyes. For external use only. Avoid direct sunlight or UV rays up to 12 hours after applying. Keep out of reach of children. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
